Windows says “Windows protected your PC”

That's Windows' warning for software it hasn't seen much yet. Click More info, then Run anyway. VELTR then installs on its own and starts.

Putting Windows back as it was

In VELTR, open the settings (the small circle in the top bar), then System › Safe Restore › Restore Windows: the taskbar, the wallpaper, the desktop icons and the pointers return to how they were before VELTR.

If VELTR no longer opens: press Win+R and start VELTR with --restore. The exact command is on that same screen (Copy button); by default:

%LOCALAPPDATA%\Programs\VELTR\VELTR.exe --restore

Activating my licence

Your key arrives by email right after the purchase. In the settings: About › Licence › Enter a key, paste it, then Activate. A licence covers 2 PCs.

No email? Check your spam folder, or find your order and your key in your Lemon Squeezy account.

Moving VELTR to another PC

On the old PC: About › Deactivate on this PC. Its seat is freed, and you can activate your key on the new one.

Updates

VELTR updates itself: a new version downloads quietly, then installs when you lock your PC or at the next startup. You can also install it right away from About › Updates.

Uninstalling VELTR

In the settings: About › Uninstall, or from Windows Settings (Apps › Installed apps). Windows gets its old look back.
